Beginning of January, my sister and I went skiing to Saalbach-Hinterglemm for three days. When we got there on Monday at noon, we checked in at our B&B and then met up with my sister’s friend. As we decided to hit the slopes only the next day, we spent the day going from one bar to the other and finally ended up at Castello.
The next day we actually wanted to go skiing, as it was raining all day and I also had a bad hangover, I stayed in bed nearly the whole day and postponed skiing for another day. So, on our last day, we got up early to finally go skiing. Not only was it sunny, but also the conditions on the slope were just perfect that day. We also met up with Anna and her mother and went together to Hinterglemm to watch the Men’s Europe Cup race there for a while. We then stopped at Breitfussalm for lunch, where I finally got my well-deserved Germknödel. After lunch, we hit the slopes again and ended our skiing day around 3 pm. But that also meant that it was already time to leave again. However, I’ll definitely be back to Saalbach soon again.
