Not wanting to wait any longer for summer to arrive, my sister and I went on a short spring getaway to Rhodes, where we stayed at the beautiful Casa Cook Hotel. Upon our arrival, we got greeted with a welcome drink. But throughout our stay, we experienced the staff being super friendly and accommodating when we needed something.
We stayed in a standard double room, which was nicely decorated and well-equipped, making it super comfortable to spend some more time there as well. Plus, from our room’s balcony, we also had a great view of the pool area and the hill at the foot of the hotel. Although the beach and sea were within walking distance from the hotel, we spent most of the time relaxing and sunbathing on our balcony, which also had direct access to the pool.
As it was still off-season and many restaurants and hotels in the area were still closed, we always had dinner at the hotel’s restaurnt featuring an extensive and affordable menu anyways. But also the breakfast buffet in the morning was super delicious and offered everything you needed at the start of the day – from warm to cold dishes, sweet to savory, and healthy to heavy. And you could also enjoy your breakfast outside next to the pool.
While we relaxed by the pool most of the time, we did a day trip to the city of Rhodes on our third day. And as there was a bus connecting the hotels in the area with the city center, it was quite convenient and cheap to get there.
Concluding, we enjoyed our stay at Casa Cook Rhodes to the fullest and would definitely stay there again. Yet, if you’re traveling on a budget, I recommend going there during the off-season, when the room rates are cheaper, and you might be lucky enough to have the pool all to yourself.
