Copenhagen is a true paradise for food lovers and has a lot of hip and chic coffee places and restaurants. While most of them are a bit pricy, they offer high-quality food along with great service. And in case you want to know where to go for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, I put together a post about where to eat in the Danish capital.
Atelier September is a popular café in Copenhagen, so I also had to try it. And while the prices are quite high, the food and coffee were great. Plus, during summertime, you can even sit outside the cafe. The only downside is, that you need to order at the counter first.
SOULS is the perfect place for vegetarians, vegans, and all, who want to enjoy great plant-based food. With its modern and varied menu, it’s not only suitable for breakfast or brunch in the morning but also for eating out in the evening. Plus, the friendly staff will make you want to come back again.
During our girls’ trip to Copenhagen, we had breakfast at Far’s Dreng. The food there was not only looking great but was also super delicious. And while it might not be the cheapest café in town, it’s worth every penny.
Torvehallerne is a modern food market near Nørreport with various restaurants and bakeries. But they also have a farmer’s market where you can not only get fresh fruits and veggies but even flowers. And if you’d like to try something typical Danish, make sure to get Smørrebrød there.
I happen to stumble upon this cute café in Frederiksberg while strolling across this area. I only had a coffee and a croissant there, but they also offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
At this café in the heart of Frederiksberg, you can order an individual breakfast. Just choose whatever you like on a paper form and hand it over to the waiter or waitress. They will then serve you everything on a plate and together with whatever hot drink you like.
