Hi, I’m Victoria!

Born and raised in a small town in the north of Austria, life has already taken me to many places – starting in Vienna, with longer stays in Spain, Denmark, and Sweden, and out into the big wide world.

It all started with living abroad for the first time in Barcelona in the summer of 2016, when I created a website and started writing about my life there. A year later, I then moved to Denmark for my studies and halfway through, I also spent a semester abroad in Sweden. Thus, for almost two years, I was fortunate enough to call Scandinavia my home, making it not only one of my most formative places but also my favorite one. Back in Vienna, I fell in love with the city all over again and am grateful that I have been able to call it my home – with some breaks – for more than eight years already.

On my blog, I have been writing about traveling around the world, things that move and inspire me, and everything else I stumble upon. And so schöngeschrieben became my digital outlet to tell my story and, at the same time, also follow my greatest passion: writing.
